Daywise Itinerary

Day 1: Castlerock- 36 km

Castlerock, a small village which lies in the heavily forested area of Dandeli tiger reserve is well known as the base village for trekkers who come to visit the mighty Dudhsagar falls. Apart from the falls, here exists a beautiful trail that passes through the jungle upto a small secluded village. On our first day, we start our ride post breakfast to visit the very less known Canopy walk built by the Karnataka government.

Day 2: DudhSagar - 45km

Today we will be riding through the Bhagwan Mahavir National park. A small climb upto the border crossing and finally you will get a thrilling downhill highway ride upto another checkpost at Mollem. We plan to reach campsite early so that we prepare ourselves for the offroad jeep ride to the gigantic Dudhsagar waterfalls. We get enough time to enjoy swimming near the falls. Post Dudhsagar visit, we ride to a peaceful spice farm stay just 10km away.

Day 3: Bondla - 60km

Today is going to be the longest ride with small climbs and rolling terrain. We visit Tambdi surla temple enroute.  Tambdi Surla is noted as the oldest temple in Goa. The  temple was built by Hemadri, the minister of the Yadava King  Ramachandra. It is built in the Hemadpanthi style from basalt. The  intricate carvings adorn the interior and the sides of the temple. The  hard work of the skilled workers can be seen in the beautiful walls of  the temple. Post lunch we enter Bondla wildlife sanctuary with some short climbs to finally end the expedition.
